Views and Reports

The Customer Insights Default Workbook consists of the following views:

Each view consists of multiple reports, which are described below.

Events

All reports are filterable by time frame, property, and provider.

Report Report Content
Provider Distribution A count of visitors to the selected property by Identity Provider (Traditional, Facebook, Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, AOL, Google+, LinkedIn, and Other), broken down by Social Login, Social Registration, Traditional Login, and Traditional Registration.
Unique Authenticated Visitors A count of users visiting the selected property (sum of registrations and sign-in events), broken down by Social and Traditional login type.
New Registered Accounts A count of new accounts registered for the selected property, broken down by Social and Traditional type.
Time of Visit A count of sign-ins for the current week, by hour. The darker the color, the higher the count.
Registrations, Sign-ins, and Engagements Over time, the number of sign-ins and registration events, by provider. It also represents Engagement (sign-ins/unique visitors) as a line chart for the same time period.

Demographics

All reports are filterable by created date and last sign-in date.

Report Report Content
Gender The number of profiles created in the last 60 days that also signed in in the last 30 days, broken down by gender.
Age Groups The number of profiles created in the last 60 days that also signed in in the last 30 days, broken down by age and grouped by age ranges:

  • 12 – 17
  • 18 – 24
  • 25 – 34
  • 45 – 54
  • 55 – 64
  • > 65
Last Login The number of profiles created in the last 60 days, grouped by last log-in time range:

  • in the last month,
  • in the last 3 months, or
  • greater than 3 months
Geo Map The last sign-in by ZIP code.

Interests

All reports are filterable by created date and last sign-in date.

Top Movies The top movie interests broken down by gender.
Top TV Shows The top TV show interests.
Top Sports The top sports interests.

Janrain Data Sources

The Customer Insights solution publishes three data sources to the Tableau Server. These data sources can be used to modify existing reports or to create new reports. The Dimensions (numerical data) and Measures (categorical data) for each data source are described in the following tables.

Last Sign-in Property The property name associated with the last sign-in event. Y Y Y
Last Login This value is set by the Capture UI depending on flow configuration and therefore should not be relied upon for the last sign-in time (use last_sigin_datetime instead). Y Y Y
Last Updated The timestamp (in UTC) when the profile was last updated. This value is updated if the user changes his or her profile or if it is changed through the Capture API (that is, through a customer’s own API call or via CCP). Y Y Y
Property The text name of the provider associated with this event (for example, Facebook). This will be Traditional for traditional login/register, or whatever value comes from Engage for social events. Y N N
