Get the Code
Once you’ve saved your widget configuration, the widget code becomes available from the Get the Code page in the Dashboard. There are two code snippets to copy:
- The widget initialization script — This goes in the <head> element of your web page. See Figure 1, Section A.
- A widget placeholder or link — This goes in the <body> element of your web page. If you designed an embedded widget, this is a <div> element; copy it to the place you want the widget to appear. If you designed a modal widget, this is the <a> element that the user clicks to make the widget appear. Copy it to the place you want the link to appear. See Figure 1, Section B.
To simplify copying, clicking anywhere on either snippet automatically selects the entire snippet.
